Y., Friday afternoon after a(n illness of several weeks. Mrs. Crofoot, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Griggs, was born in Fosterville, NY, March 22, 1848, and lived there until a short time after her marriage when with her husband she moved to Fleming where for 60 years she took an active part in the community life of
    that town. She was an active member of the First Methodist Church of Fleming and very early in life became interested in the work of the Women's Foreign Missionary Society and was a charter member of the society in Fleming. She was also very much interested in the work of the W. C. T. U. and was always an ardent supporter of Francis E. Willard. Besides her daughter she is survived by two sons. Dr. Frank A. Crofoot of Lyons. N. Y., and Fred G. Crofoot of Auburn, N. Y.: one granddaughter, Helen Wlndnagle of Scipio. N. Y. Funeral services will be held from the home oi her daughter in Scipio, N. Y., Sunday afternoon, July 31.
    1927, at 3:00 o'clock. Burial will be made in the Fleming Cemetery. Rev. F. M. Windnagle, a former pastor of the Fleming M. E. Church aad father of ’ert Windnagle, will officiate.
