The sudden and unexpected demise
of Miss Jennie Wright at her home
just South of Forshee's corners, on
Friday. April 28, after a very short illness,
caused a shadow-like pall to fall
over the locality where she had always
lived. She was highly esteemed for
her many noble traits of character aod
will be greatly missed.
The deceased was born February 22.
1845, in the house where she died.
Her father, John Wright , and mother
both crossed the great divide several
years ago. Her two brothers, John
and William, both died in Colorado,
John leaving a wife and six children,
five sons and one daughter, all of whom
live in the town of Montezuma. William
and his wife, formerly Carrie McIntosh and two
sons, died in Colorado,
leaving one son, William, who lived on
the farm with the deceased, one daughter,
Eleanor, who lives with her aunt,
Mrs. Eleanor Gilmore, nee Mcintosh,
and uncle Dr. Sherwood Mcintosh. In
New York city.
Interment was in the old Mentz
church cemetery.
