He bad been a resident of the town over 19 years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Katherine Gutchess and a daughter, Margaret Wade. Funeral services will he held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon with Masonic services. Rev. Wesley Kehler, pastor of the Montezuma Methodist Episcopal Church will officiate.

Mrs. Ward is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Georgia Bulkley of Aubuprn, and Helen, Tula May. Thora A., Avis J. and Kay B. Ward of Throop; two sons, H. Leslie Ward of Springport and Sanford A. Ward of Throop; her mother, Mrs. Georgia May Hunt of Montezuma and a sister, Mrs. Ella May Marsden of Auburn.
