Sunday, February 10, Elias Baldwin, an agod and highly esteemed citizen af the town of Aurelius entered into rest, aged 80 years and seven months. Mr. Baldwin was known and held in esteem and respect by our people. Jo early life be united with the M. E. church at Cavuga , and died in the triumphs of the Christian faith. He is survived by a widow, two sons, John, of Jackson, Mich., and Daniell Baldwin, of Port Byron, and two daughters, Mrs. George McArtbur, of Leslie,Micb.,and Mrs. Z. R.Grabam, of Seneca Falls, and a largo circle of relatives and friends who will eve r cherish the memory of the devoted husband, th e affectionate father, the kind friend aod neighbor. Funeral services were held last Wednesday, and at Cayug a cemetery, surrounded by nearly all of his relative s and the friends of his youth, they laid his body down to rest as it shall be done until the end cometh.
